
Carolina Reyes, a maternal fetal medicine specialist, is associate clinical professor at UC Davis School of Medicine. Reyes serves on the California Pregnancy-Related Mortality Review Committee that identifies ways hospitals and physicians can improve the care to prevent adverse outcomes. She is chair of the California Health Care Foundation Board and a trustee of the Catholic Health Association. Reyes served on the Institute of Medicine committee producing the sentinel report, Unequal Treatment: Confronting Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Healthcare. Her numerous awards include the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology Community Service Award. Previously, she served on the US Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Infant Mortality and the US Preventive Health Services Task Force, and was senior scholar with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
