
María Hinojosa
Founder and President, Futuro Media
María Hinojosa is the founder and president of Futuro Media, where she co-hosts the political podcast “In The Thick” and is anchor and executive producer of “Latino USA.” She is also a contributor to “CBS Sunday Morning” and a frequent guest on MSNBC. Previously, Hinojosa reported for PBS, CBS, WNBC, CNN, NPR, and anchored “Maria Hinojosa: One-on-One” on PBS. She was the first Latina to anchor a PBS “Frontline” report. Hinojosa is the author of Once I Was You and Raising Raul. Her recognition includes four Emmys, the John Chancellor Award, the Studs Terkel Community Media Award, two Robert F. Kennedy Awards, the Edward R. Murrow Award, and the Ruben Salazar Lifetime Achievement Award.
